Michigan Statewide Carpenters and Millwrights Joint Apprenticeship and Training Center is new construction sitting on a previously undeveloped 6-acre parcel. The new Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice Training Center located in Negaunee, MI. This project consists of a 30,392 SF conventionally framed structural steel
building with a 3,500 SF mezzanine.
This innovated facility consists of a welding lab, carpenters lab, carpentry saw shop, alignment room, multiple classrooms, conferences rooms and offices.
Schweitzer provided Construction Management Services for work consisting of earthwork, landscaping, asphalt paving, concrete, masonry veneer, structural steel, carpentry, roofing, thermal and moisture protection, glass and glazing, metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, frames, hardware, toilet partitions and accessories, casework, plumbing, HVAC, HVAC controls, and electrical.
