Schweitzer was awarded a Construction Management agreement to construct the new Retail Center for Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland to be located in Marshall, Michigan.
The 15,500 square foot facility will be bid to subtrades in mid-December of 2016 and is slated to commence construction activities in the spring of 2017.
The new facility will be completed in December of 2017 with the owner occupying the Center in early 2018. Tower Pinkster of Kalamazoo, Michigan is providing architectural and engineering services for this project.
So this article said the facility will be located in Marshall. But one responder said location will be in Battle Creek in the Norman Foods building and another responder said that Goodwill is in Battle Creek which I know is true. So is this article incorrect?
Hi Gordon, the building referenced in this article (the new Retail and Training facility for Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland) will be in Marshall as quoted in the article.
Our own new building for Schweitzer will soon be under construction in Battle Creek in the Norman Foods building. Details to come.
There are several Goodwill stores in Battle Creek, which are separate from this project.
